Of course, even in the best of times businesses have a high rate of failure; perhaps we should be surprised the survival rate hasn't dipped even more!
Meanwhile, business confidence is edging up slightly, but still remains depressed. As usual, it isn't clear how Alaskan businesses compare to the national data, but the trends are still noteworthy.
